DOCENTS AND VOLUNTEERS
Docents and Volunteers: Would you like to volunteer to be a Docent Guide? Please contact us. We will be happy to train you so that you understand the exhibits and can answer questions the public may have. As the museum is self guiding, you will not have to give verbal guided tours. We have two floors so it takes two docents for us to be able to be open to the public. We would like to have sufficient docents on staff so that they would only have to commit to one day a month and we will be happy to work with you on the schedule. Or you can volunteer to assist us at our entry desk or as a volunteer helper during Special Events. Would you be willing or interested in being a Docent or Volunteer worker? If so please register at this link and we will contact you.
Educators and Civic Groups: We welcome and invite school groups, college groups, civic clubs, senior groups and any other history or art education minded groups to contact us to arrange for a customized area special presentations and guided viewing of the museum with special group rates.
Renaissance Re-enactment and Medieval Music Groups: We actively seek Renaissance or Medieval Reenactment groups and Medieval Music Groups who would like to work with us to organize and set up special events at Castlerock Museum. Please contact us.
